[Rating - KMovie] 3 Iron

First of all, I'm rating this while putting aside my bias for Jae Hee.

Story:

Interest: 2
(2 = I'm so glad I watched it!;
1 = There's nothing to lose if I didn't watch it;
0 = What a waste of time)
Coherence: 2
(2 = Perfectly crafted story, no missing links, well-thought out, whoever wrote this is a genius;
1.5 = The story seems to have no flaws but it isn't a very challenging story to write;
1 = The story has some flaws in it so the flow isn't really that good;
0 = What did the story really want to say?!)
- I'm going with "whoever wrote this one is a genius". It's fresh, I haven't seen a story like this before. If it was taken from some other movie, maybe from a foreign one, I'll edit this post. But for now, I'll rate this as an original story
Reality: 2
(2 = True-to-life story or the story felt so real that it made me believe that it's true;
1.5 = Looks so real but the story is so common;
1 = It could have convinced me if not for some things that felt a little weird;
0 = I don't think that this could happen in real life)
Inspiration: 1

(2 = It stirred something inside me, made me feel better;
1 = It's a good story but didn't do anything for me;
0 = No lessons to pick up for me)

Movie:
Execution: 2
(2 = The director did a magnificent job, the movie was so clean and it felt so real;
1 = It was okay but it didn't blow me away;
0 = Did the director have such a low standard?)
Effect: 1
(2 = Brought out all the right emotions from me (cry, laugh, get angry, cringe... etc);
1 = Almost cried, almost laughed, almost got angry.
0 = It didn't move me at all.
Acting: 2
(2 = The actors were completely lost in their characters, they gave me goosebumps;
1 = The actors were good but the roles weren't really challenging;
0 = The actors need to attend more acting workshops)
- The acting was flawless. The only dialogue the lead actors had was "I love you". The film finished with just that but I felt them. Jae Hee's facial expression was so strong that I heard him even though he didn't speak a word.
Casting: 2
(2 = It was a cast made in heaven, the acting and the faces were perfect for the roles;
1 = The actors didn't make much impression;
0 = They should have given the role to better actors)
Compactness: 1
(2 = Didn't blink even once afraid to miss a thing;
1 = Skipped some parts but didn't blink on some;
0 = Skipped more than watched
)
- I don't mind watching slow-paced movies as long as each second of it is interesting for me. The movie's pacing was a little bit too slow for me.
Cinematography: 1
(2 = Blew me away;
1 = Just okay, it' not a high-budget film anyway;
0 = Did they even have budget for this movie?)
Scoring: 1.5
(2 = Helped in bringing out the viewer's emotions and I loved the soundtrack;
1.5 = The scoring matched the scenes or there's at least one song that I loved;
1 = At least the movie had a soundtrack;
0 = The movie doesn't have one.)

Recommend? 2
(2 = You'll miss half of your life if you don't watch this;
1 = If you like the genre, watch it;
0 = You won't miss anything if you don't watch this)
- I think I can't praise the story enough. The story is just so brilliant. It won't be just your eyes working here but you'll have to jump start your brain cuz you'll need a lot of imagination. With just some minor revisions, this could've been a silent film. You'll have to figure out what's happening cuz the lead stars won't explain them to you through words. The execution was also perfect. The actors also blew me away.

Total Rating: 4.1/5
