[Rating] You're Beautiful

I just watched this highly recommended drama and, man, I'm glad I did or else I would've missed a really great (according to my standards) drama.

Here's my rating:
A little explanation about my rating system. Each criteria is worth 2 points and I'll be rating them according to how they fare against a drama that a got perfect score for that criteria.

Chemistry of lead pair: 1/2
- There's something off when I see them together. I can't exactly tell what's wrong. It wasn't awkward watching them but they didn't affect me as much either. One reason I could think of is Park Shin Hye's angelic and innocent face without make-up, which made Go Mi Nam and Hwang Tae Kyung look like an odd pair.

Lead Characters: 2/2
- I'm taking this back. Okay I'm eating all my words now. I finished the drama yesterday and all I can think about is Jang Geun Suk's face. I listen to "Without Words" and the image running through my mind is JGS singing it with his eyes closed. All I could think about right now is JGS! Every time his face or image pops up somewhere, my heart leaps. Aigoo! Hahahaha! (Got that from Go Mi Nam's aunt.) And my heart melts whenever I remember his crying scenes (I fall in love with characters who try to hold back their tears but end up crying a bucket more of tears... it's so manly. ^_^). Of course I still like Park Shin Hye.

Attachment: 2/2
- I think it'll take time for me to forget Hwang Tae Kyung's pout and that "I'm-really-pissed-off-right-now-but-I'll-just-let-it-pass" look.

Length: 1.5/2
- It was a little bit dragged in the end. The first few episodes were fast-paced but the episodes towards the end were a little slow. But it wasn't that bad compared to other Korean dramas that crawled into a stop (like Delightful Girl Choon Hyang). Even though the story was a little slow in the end, the story was still okay.

Location: 2/2
- I loved the house, I loved A.N.Jell's studio, I loved the other views they featured on the show.

Details: 1/2
- There were some parts where re-takes were very very obvious. First, the part where Go Min Nam was looking for the ring Hwang Tae Kyung threw into the pond. Before Go Min Nam went out from the pond, the rail and the stone where he was standing were already wet even before she/he jumped over it. The second one was when Hwang Tae Kyung asked Go Min Nam to feed him some oranges, he opens his mouth revealing his orange tongue (like he just ate some oranges).
- There were also scenes where Hwang Tae Kyung's fingernails looked dirty. :c Maybe the director didn't really care about that but that might have been the reason why I didn't fall in love with Hwang Tae Kyung.

Coherence of story: 1.5/2
- The story was coherent... but there's just one thing that's bothering me. Where did the ring - which Go Min Nam used as a guarantee that she won't cause any trouble - go?

Effectiveness: 2/2
- The lead characters and the story were very effective in bringing out my emotions. I laughed, cried, felt like I was about to melt, and I really hated Yoo He Yi.

Hooking Power: 2/2
- I totally forgot about the things around me because I was so hooked up in the drama. It got me watching from start to finish.

Feel Good: 1/2
- It made me feel good up to some point. But the episodes towards the end were a little bit depressing.

Season 2: 2/2
- I definitely want a 2nd season. Let's see if I fall in love with Hwang Tae Kyung that time.

Re-watch: 2/2
- Definitely worth watching for the nth time.

OST: 2/2
- I love the songs! Especially "Without Words".

Total: 22/26 (4/5)

** Part that stood out:
When they mentioned something about fan-fictions, that the fans were writing love stories about them. Hahahahah. It was so funny. I should know coz I'm a fangirl and I used to write some fanfics.

** Notes
For those who have watched and loved "Hana Yori Dango", "Boys Over Flowers", and "Full House", you have to try this one.
