[Rating - KMovie] Tae Guk Gi

After watching the movie, I'm not wondering anymore why Tae Guk Gi always makes it into people's top 10 favorite Korean movies.

Rating:

Cast:
Acting: 2/2
- Won Bin's acting here deserves nothing else but a perfect score. His acting alone is enough to look past the film's imperfections, if it even has one.
Chemistry: 2/2
- There are other actors who'd fit the role but I think no one else can do it the way the lead actors did it in this film.

Story:
Coherence: 2/2
- No missing links, every information is necessary, each scene gives way to the next. The story is perfect.
Interest: 2/2
- I didn't click on the fast forward button for this movie because I didn't want to miss a thing.
Reality: 2/2
- The story's very convincing that it wasn't hard for me to believe that what happened to them could possibly be happening in real life.
Inspiration: 2/2
- The love of Jin-tae for Jin-seok was so inspiring and it touched me in a lot of ways.
Compactness: 2/2
- If I could just stop myself from blinking, I would have watched the movie without blinking once.
Effect: 2/2
- I can't remember at what point I started crying but the moment that the movie started I was already hooked.

Soundtrack: 1/2
- The music they used for the scenes were perfect but there was nothing to like in particular.

Cinematography: 2/2
- Just like the story, I also loved how the movie was shot.

Recommend: 2/2
- So far, this is the best war movie I've ever watched. I don't really like bloody stuff but I was willing to overlook that because the movie's just so amazing.

TOTAL RATING: 4.7/5
