Rating:
Cast:
Acting: 2/2
- Lee Byung-hun is an exceptionally good actor. I felt him, I felt his character. The intensity of his facial expression makes him very effective as an actor.
Chemistry: 2/2
- the actors were perfect for the roles. They were good enough to convince me that they were real entities and that I was watching something that's really going on.
Story:
Coherence: 2/2
- There were no missing links. The movie was well written and was finely stitched together.
Interest: 2/2
- Each scene paved the way for the next, which made me stick to it and look forward to what happens next.
Reality: 2/2
- The story seems so real. It gives me the feeling that somewhere along the line that divides North and South Korea, there really are guys who have developed a forbidden friendship like the one in the movie.
Inspiration: 2/2
- This story of friendship between guys who are supposed to be enemies is really very inspiring.
Compactness: 2/2
- Each second was very vital for the film that if I skipped a part, I wouldn't have understood and enjoyed the movie as much as I did.
Effect: 1/2
- It didn't have a lasting effect though. It didn't make me feel good but it made me think to myself "Wow! That was a good movie."
Soundtrack: 0/2
Did it have one? Well I guess it didn't need one but it would've been greaat if they made one.
Cinematography: 1/2
It wasn't bad but it didn't really blow me away. It was normal.
Recommend: 1/2
I love romantic-comedies but this movie made me watch from start to finish because the story's really good. Not everyone will like it though so I think I'm going to recommend it to those who are thinking of watching it.
TOTAL RATING: 3.9/5
